To act as the visionary, providing content, pastoral care, and support to members, and fostering growth within the group.
To be responsible to the small group leader of the Church. To be under the supervision of the Elders and Pastors of the Church.
1. Be prepared to lead the small group meeting,
2. Follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit in leading the discussion of the material being studied.
3. Facilitate discussion between all the members of the group.
4. Be a good listener and demonstrate leadership qualities to the group.
5. Organize the group so that operates as a “team” that will multiply and start more groups.
1. Be a spiritually mature, dependable person, able to keep confidence and assist with a servant’s heart and work as part of a team .
2. Dedicated Christian and an active member of Church at the Grove
3. Demonstrate to others the fruits of the Spirit and use their spiritual gifts in the Body of Christ.
4. Attend training opportunities offered by the Church.
To support the leader by taking on responsibilities and being developed to eventually lead the group.
